Dixie Cream Donut Shop in Valdosta

They have some really good donuts when they're "hot and fresh". I say this because there have been times i've bought donuts there that seemed to have been refried or look stale. The lady could be more friendly but i guess you can't expect much from your local mom and pop business aye? She screwed up my order once and gave me wrong change but the other guy sorted it out and handled it well. Other than that the donuts are good.

Best donuts on the planet. Get them hot and they are beyond compare. Notice all of the bad reviews that have an explanation are about someone that works the counter that wasn't nice to them and not about the donuts lack of quality. Get over it. You are dealing with someone there for 1 minute or 2 at the most. Who cares? Especially if the donuts are as awesome as these.

Dixie Cream is a bit out of the way, but worth it for the best donuts in town imo. Don't go in expecting a whole "experience," this place is the opposite of the big chains, but you can see thru the windows how they make everything from scratch. The coffee is decent and glazed donuts actually are crispy, not gooey. Just don't expect the old lady at the counter to kiss your butt, she's there to sell donuts, not to be your friend. I'll give her a pass, she's been up a lot earlier than the rest of us..

Dixie Creme doughnuts is the place for the best doughnuts in South Georgia . I've been coming here since my childhood days in the 1960's. The doughnuts are the lightest, and melt in your mouth when they are just cooked. They have many varieties to choose from, so take your pick. I'm sure that whatever flavor you choose, you won’t be disappointed. When you see the" hot doughnut sign lit up, make a pit stop, and a straight bee line to Dixie Creme Doughnuts.

I've bought dozens of assorted donuts, etc from Jason and folks at Dixie Cream. They've always been cordial and made me feel welcome and appreciated​! Their product is consistently delicious!

Dixie Cream Donut Shop is the best in Valdosta and, in all honesty, the best that I have ever had. They are the only donuts I consider worth the calories. They make a delicious cinnamon cake donut that is my favorite. However, their hot glazed donuts cannot be rivaled. If you are up early, you can go and watch them make the donuts the old fashioned way! The service and atmosphere is friendly and comfortable! Go and have one today - you will not be disappointed!

They open at 6 am and they have the best hot donuts. I remember eating them when we were little. Still the same heartwarming feeling. The owners are really like family!

This is one of the most important establishments standing in Valdosta Georgia. I associate only positive memories deep familial love and a pride in my place of birth when I can even conjure a whim of how perfect these donuts are. When I go visit my family I always make sure I go there.

Went to this place for the first time yesterday and was a little skeptical but tried it anyway and I will say these donuts were fantastic I wish they would put multiple donuts in a box instead of a bag the, paper stuck to the chocolate on my donut butut overall I will be oin g back the lady was very nice I don't like daylight donuts I'm so glad I found dixie donuts much better for sure by a long shot

Every donut is amazing! This place has been feeding me for years since I was a child the taste has always been the same . Delicious!

Do not come here. Online they say they’re open until 1:30, I’m here at 12:28 and they’re closed, on top of that I received the nastiest customer service from the lady working in there when I asked if they were closed. She is completely nasty and I will not be back and I recommend you don’t waste your time coming here.

Great doughnuts but I just called and whomever answered the phone was rude to me. Maybe they are waking you up too early maam. Maybe the govt will open back up soon so you can have your job back.

I've lived everywhere and these are the best donuts on the face of the Earth. I've been going there for 20 years since I was a little kid every time I visited Valdosta.

I have enjoyed donuts from here ever since I was a kid. Things haven't changed much since then, and rightfully so. However, what used to be a delicious early morning treat before school, is now my favorite place to pick up dozens for me and my workmates. A salute to consistency and tradition! Stay sweet!

Donuts were excellent! We had a mixed dozen and 6 glazed donuts. All were tasty.

It's a very small shop with AMAZING donuts and a window into the back to watch the donuts being made. The cinnamon rolls are absolutely fantastic (ours were fresh out of the oven). My custard filled donut had cream all the way through. Usually filled donuts only have a blob of custard inside one edge of the donut, but not these! We stopped here on a road trip and I'm just sad I won't be able to go here regularly because it's that delicious.

My son was looking at Google maps as we're driving through town, "There's a donut shop over there past Johnson!" Well ok then... Not sorry I stopped. The lady was very patient and friendly with me and my two boys as everyone changed their minds 6 times until we got our order straight. The prices are very reasonable and the donuts are great.
